Just ran into one of my abusers from 2011. She’s on Facebook, hanging out on TERF pages, of course. She wrote a multipage blog post about me after she found my surgery blog, which I’d set up so that friends and family could keep track of my progress in Thailand.

I just confronted her on the @SpeakUp4WomenNZ Facebook page, calling out her abuse and do you know what happened? They banned me. This is how SUFW deals with known abusers - they ban their victims for Speaking Up.

There were 70+ comments on my surgery, my life, my vagina, my mental health and more. There was also a death threat, which she never removed, right up until the day the blog got banned a few years ago.

I think it’s an understatement to say that her attack came when I was extremely vulnerable; I was still healing from surgery and dealing with mild post surgical depression. And she went for the jugular as hard as she could, and posted pingbacks on my surgery blog to hers.

My comment said basically what I illustrated above; that this woman wrote an abusive blog post about my surgery, which included a death threat in the comments. I even asked how she’s been doing since her blog was banned 🙂
