@Sayeedp3 @MohammadKaif Why is it celebrated only in south Asia? Why isn't it celebrated across the globe or even in Arab world ? Many Scholars cited that there's only one night of blessing as per Quran i.e. Night of Lailatul Qadr in the month of Ramzan. A wrong interpretation created Shab-e-Barat.
In the night of mid-Sha'ban, from sunset until dawn, Allah asks His servants: Is there anyone seeking forgiveness, So that I may forgive him? Is there anyone seeking provision, so that I may provide for him? Is there anyone suffering, so that I may releive him?

Verily Allah the Glorious and Majestic look at His servants on the night of mid-Sha`ban, and He forgives those who ask forgiveness, and He bestows mercy on those who ask mercy, and He gives a delay to the people of envy and spite in their state.
